Smart Energy Solutions, founded in 2008, is part of Inzone, and is one of NZ’s largest home energy efficiency companies. They support homeowners and landlords with energy efficient products from insulation, heat pumps and ventilation to solar power. Their focus is on premium customer service from initial consultation, through to sales, installation and auditing services.

The strategy and approach

We have worked with SES and its sister brand, Mammoth Insulation (both part of Inzone) since 2016. During that time we have functioned as an extension to the internal marketing and technology team helping implement and support marketing automation, ongoing customer engagement and digital experience design. We also undertake search and social media advertising and remarketing, working to an agreed allowable cost per lead to drive quality leads for the customer service team to service..


The business has grown significantly over the years and now employs almost 400 people NZ wide. Over the last year lead traffic has increased again, this time by 24%, with converted leads up by 74% year on year.
